Abner Tessay Jr.

Abner Tessay Jr. Passed away suddenly at HonorHealth, Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center, in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 30th, 2022.

Abner Jr.  was born to Abner Sr. and Galena (deceased) Tessay on October 5th, 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona. Abner Jr. attended Alchesay High School and later worked in maintenance for the Tribal Housing Authority, and for Hawley Lake.  He loved to be in the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and played his flute and guitar in his leisure time.

Abner Jr. is survived by: his son Sebastian S. Tessay, his Father: Abner Tessay Sr. Siblings: Jurieane Tessay, Amex (Cassie, Amari, Amira) Tessay, Mario Machuse Sr. (Mario Machuse Jr.) Roberta Henry (Myron Martin, Monica Marin, Tonya Aday, Lacey Key) Grandchildren: Maddrox and Jerianna Tessay, TeeJay Hunter, Ariat, Laitai, Chaske, Weavely, Camreele Colter Aday, Kiesley Key. Nieces: Nevaeh White, (goddaughter) Katalia Ivins, Robin Tessay (O’ream Childs). Abner Jr. is preceded in death by his Mother: Galena Tessay, Sister: Ahshawnate Tessay, Brother: Orlando Tessay, and Son: Diamond K. Tessay.

Services for Abner Jr. Tessay are as follows: Viewing/Wake will be Thursday June 9th at 10:00 am to 12:00 noon at 156 N. Endfield Lane, Cibecue, Arizona. A Graveside Service will immediately follow the viewing at Red Mountain Cemetery, Cibecue, Arizona.
