Alfred M. Cromwell went to be with the Lord on November 9, 2021, in Canyon Day, AZ. He was born in Whiteriver, AZ to Ola Declay and Tennyson Cromwell on September 2, 1966.
Alfred enjoyed fishing, swimming, and listening to music. He enjoyed making wood, especially with his late Uncle Kenneth. He liked to watch the Cardinals and the U of A play, being outside doing yard work, or just enjoying a drink, hot or cold. He loved hanging out with family and friends, going to the Sunrise Dance to support his nephews, helping his brother, Nando, with his little league team, and spending time with the kids and giving them nicknames. He was a cross country runner and won many awards.
Alfred is survived by: mother: Ola Declay; daughter: Tia Cromwell; sons: Clarence Truax, Cyrus Truax and Marseano Truax; brothers: Albert Cromwell, Fernando Cromwell, Robert Kinney, Timothy Declay, and Delvin Declay Sr.; sisters: Heather Pina, Susan Declay and Remija Skidmore; step-father: Jasper Declay Sr. and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father: Tennyson Cromwell; brother: Jasper Declay Jr. and grandchild: Baby Angel Pina.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Silver Creek Mortuary in Pinetop, AZ. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Mourning Dove Cemetery in Cedar Creek, AZ.
