Alof Stratton Larson

Alof Stratton Larson passed away December 1st, 2022 in Show Low, Arizona. He was surrounded by loved ones and went peacefully. Alof was born to Monte S. and Billie Ruth Larson on November 1st,1978 in Conway, AR. He moved with his family to Snowflake, AZ at the age of one and lived there until his death. 

He leaves his eternal love, Synthia Lynea (Neff), and his girls Jennica Grace (11) and Journie Rose (3). Alof found his love unexpectedly and they were sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Snowflake Temple on July 28, 2007. Over the course of those 15 years, they were blessed with their 2 beautiful girls whom he adored.

Alof was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served an honorable mission in the Pocatello, Idaho mission. He also had many callings in his ward but his most recent was as a primary teacher for children for the last 9 years.

Alof was an avid hunter and had just returned from hunting Eastern whitetail in Missouri and had successfully completed a hunt with his wife and father-in-law in October where he guided his father-in-law to a trophy deer. Alof was always one to help retrieve a harvested animal or guide his oldest daughter, friends, or nephews on their hunts. 

Alof was preceded in death by his mother Billie Ruth (Sublett), Grandparents Ivan and Erna Larson (Shumway), Pauline Wagoner, Jesse Sublett, his Uncle Evan Larson and nephew Michael. He is survived by his loving wife Synthia (Neff), daughters Jennica and Journie, his father Monte Larson, siblings Sherry, Evan (Alana), Joseph (Jennifer), Alex (Mallory), their children and grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed. We will be honoring him in a celebration of life on December 17th at 12 pm with a viewing prior to the service from 10:30 to 11:30 am at the Centennial Stake Center located on 9th St. in Snowflake, AZ.  Interment will be at RV Mike Ramsay Memorial Cemetery in Snowflake, AZ directly following the Celebration of Life.  A virtual link has been set up for those unable to attend in person - Join Zoom Meeting
