Anna Lois Calkins

It is with great sadness that the family of Anna Lois Calkins announces her passing.

Lois, 88, passed away peacefully at home on September 20, 2024.

Lois was born June 19, 1936, in Collinsville Alabama to Osborn and Mary Willie Mae Sloan. She graduated from Collinsville High School in 1954. She became a proud resident of Tucson Arizona in 1967. Lois worked and retired from Raytheon. She enjoyed gardening and loved showing her numerous plants and flowers to all the family and friends that visited.

Lois Is survived by daughter Caroline Wilford (Douglas), son Patrick Patterson, sister Mary Gerdenics (Roger), brother George Anthony Sloane (Cathy), grandson, Joshua Garrett, grandson Chad Wilford (Lisa), grandson Jesse Garrett, 5 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband George Calkins, her son Jeffrey Patterson, sister Frances Sloane, sister Virginia Banks, brother Luther Preston Sloane, and granddaughter Traci Wilford.

There will be a graveside service on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11AM at Lakeside Cemetery, 1265 Larson Rd, Lakeside, AZ 85929

Lois will be missed and has left a void in all our lives.
