Bobbi Beth Hoida, affectionately known as Bobbi, left this world as peacefully as she lived in it, passing away in her sleep on May 12, 2024, at her beloved summer resort in Show Low, Arizona. Born on March 13, 1955, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Bobbi's warm spirit and generous heart touched the lives of many throughout her 69 years.
Bobbi's journey began in the small town of Green Bay, where her vibrant personality and love for her community quickly became evident. She dedicated her professional life to the Green Bay school system as a para professional, working tirelessly to support children with special needs. Her compassion and patience made a lasting impact on the lives of her students and their families.
In 2014, Bobbi and her cherished husband of 48 years, Wayne, embarked on a new adventure, relocating to Mesa, Arizona. There, she continued to spread her infectious joy, becoming known for her lively Packer parties and signature Jello shots, a nod to her Wisconsin roots. Bobbi's ability to connect with people was unmatched, and she quickly became a beloved figure in her new community.
Bobbi's love for her family was profound. She is survived by her husband, Wayne, of Mesa, Arizona, and her three daughters, Shana Howe and her husband Derek of Green Bay, WI, Carrie Mae Rouse and her husband David of DePere, WI, and Heather Lealiou and her husband Brian of Lena, WI. Her legacy lives on through her granddaughters Madelyn husband Brock, Abigail, Madysen, Jordan, Zoe, Rylea, and her great-granddaughter, Blaire Violet. Also mourning her loss is her four-legged son, Max, who gave her immense joy and companionship.
Bobbi was preceded in death by her mother, Loretta, her father, Earl (Jones), her mother-in-law, Lucille, her father-in-law, Marvin (Hoida), and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Hoida, David Hoida, and Richard "Dick" Borlee. As a devoted dog lover, Bobbi will be joyfully reunited with her beloved canine companions who passed before her.
A people person through and through, Bobbi's interests and hobbies were as diverse and colorful as her personality. She will be remembered for her unwavering support for the Green Bay Packers, her enthusiasm for good conversation, and the way she could light up any room with her presence.
To honor Bobbi's extraordinary life, a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held in three locations she held dear: in Show Low, Arizona in June 2024, in Green Bay in August 2024, and finally in Mesa, Arizona in November 2024. These gatherings will be a testament to Bobbi's far-reaching impact and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of those she met.
