Bonnie Jean Karns

Bonnie Jean Karns entered eternal rest on December 3, 2022, in Overgaard, Arizona, peacefully at home next to her loving husband.  Bonnie was born on September 1, 1946, in Decatur, Illinois, to Orville Mowry and Sarah (Lambert) Mowry.  They moved to Arizona in 1958.  Bonnie attended Maryvale High School.  She married Bobby Karns on August 12, 1998.  Bonnie and Bobby enjoyed a wonderful marriage and were best friends.  The two of them spent much of their time outdoors.  They loved fishing, camping, hunting, and being camp hosts for several years at Woods Canyon Lake. 

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bobby; her son Wesley; her daughter-in-law, Lisa; her stepchildren, Kelly, Jennifer, and Bobby; and grandchildren, Steven, Tyler, Joshua, Cody, Lauren, and Hailey. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Sarah Mowry, and her sister, Pat.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona.
