Brenda Clendon Obituary

Brenda Lou Clendon, Born on March 28, 1957 to her parents, Ruth Palmer Clendon and Thomas Clendon Sr.  Entered Eternal Rest Peacefully on Thursday March 4, 2021, after a short term illness named, C-diff and Dementia. She was born in McNary, Arizona. She lived the remainder of her life on the WMAT Reservation. One familiar neighborhood she lived in was at Fort Apache Jct. E. Malone St.  During Brenda’s younger years she was employed at Sunrise Ski Resort Restaurant as a waitress and also at Fort Apache Museum. Brenda had hobbies of doing garden work to plant pumpkins and tomato’s; she also liked to do different arts & crafts. One area she was noticed in was dressing up, fixing her hair, and wearing make-up. Even on days she stayed home with no plans, she sat to the mirror putting on make-up. She enjoyed cooking; she cooked for her whole family of her children, brothers, sisters, mother, nieces and nephews.  Her favorite food was tacos. On her spare time she liked to do bake sales, she would make candy apples, apache corn bread and tamales. Brenda had many family and friends and she loved all of them. She always tried to acknowledge people she knew. She was a very humble lady, and she also had a good sense of humor, she liked to joke around and laugh… As she got older, she started to fellowship with many churches on the reservation; as she knew that keeping the Lord a part of her life was important. She sang church songs when she could, even in church buildings. Although her time has come to an end her on earth, she lived a life she loved and has no regrets. She will be missed, but she left all of us memories for us to keep and to hold in our hearts. Thank you for all your prayers, words of encouragement and donations, last of all we say Thank You on behalf of Brenda.  Survivors, Brothers: Robinson Clendon & family, Davis Clendon & family, Eddie Clendon, Thomas Clendon Jr. and Family, Her children, Vernadale & Ronnie Suttle Jr. & family, Jashon & Jose Manceda & family, Lucy Jean Rednick & family, Joseph Lewis Edwards, (children raised by Brenda, her nephews) Michael Thomas Clendon and Joshua Dio Walker and family.
