Cecile Neomi Tenijieth

Cecile Neomi Tenijieth entered eternal rest on April 23, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona.  She was both to Lucille Willis-Gloshay and the late Ernie Tenijieth on November 30, 1990.

Cecile loved to go hiking, running, walking, and homemaking. She also loved to work at Sky Harbor Airport.  She was photogenic and loved to spend time with her children.  She went to Whiteriver Elementary, Cradleboard Elementary, John F. Kennedy Day School and went to Refrigerator and Electronic School.

Cecile is survived by her children: Jamelia, Jacelia, Julian, Neveah and Horatio Cody; her mother, Lucille Willis-Gloshay; aunts, Lucinda Gregg, Lulinda Harvey, Emma Tortice. Patsy Tenijieth and Lena Tenijieth; uncles, Roger Tenijieth Sr. and William Tenijieth, Sr.; siblings, Ernestine Hoskie, Irene Thomas, Everetta Tenijieth, Terrie Tenijieth, Shaquille Tenijieth, Denarius Gloshay, Angela Gloshay and Tasha Gloshay; grandma, Judy Declay; godfather, Orson Cosay.

Cecile is preceded in death by her father, Ernie Tenijieth; grandpa, Ernie Declay; and nephew, Todd Nozie.

The wake will be Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Judy Declay’s residence in Canyon Day at 5125 Tumbleweed Lane.  The funeral is on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 1 p.m. at the Northfork Miracle Church.  The interment will follow at the Canyon Day Cemetery.
