It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christina (Tina) Beth Allen McKinnon, who passed away on June 7, 2026 at the age of 76, in Heber-Overgaard, AZ after battling years of dementia.


Tina was born on May 27, 1950 in Phoenix, AZ to Grant and Phyllis Allen. Throughout her life, she was devoted to her faith in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and to the people she loved. Her greatest joy was found in serving others, especially her family, friends, and community.


Tina and her beloved husband, Steven McKinnon, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on April 28, 2026. Together they built a strong family and created a legacy that continues through their 9 children, 31 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.


Tina is survived by her husband, Steve and her children (spouses), Karen Sue Shaker, Timothy McKinnon (Nicolle), Andrea Colwell (Ian), Daniel McKinnon (Tiffany), Julie Mooney (Mac), Michael McKinnon, Robert McKinnon, David McKinnon.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Phyllis Palmer Allen, Kristi Lee McKinnon, Gus Robert McKinnon, Alistair Byron McKinnon, Zachary Taylor McKinnon, Van Woodruff Shaker.


Tina's many talents and interests brought beauty and comfort to those around her. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, quilting, and a wide variety of crafts. She loved music and played the piano, enjoyed computers and technology, and was known as a great cook and baker. She had a love for chocolate, a nurturing heart for animals, and an extraordinary love for babies.


Among her most cherished experiences were serving in the Snowflake Arizona Temple and completing two senior missions with Steve. Her life was a testament to faith, service, and perseverance.


As a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Tina will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered. Her example of Christlike service, kindness, and enduring faith touched countless lives and leaves a lasting legacy for generations to come.


Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at 10:00 am, with a viewing beginning at 9:00 am, at the Heber Stake Chapel 1858 AZ-260 Hwy Heber, Arizona 85928.


Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Tina's life and the love she shared with others.
