Clara Lenora Quimby

Clara Lenore Quimby 91, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2024. Clara was born on March 30, 1932 to Jacob and Laura Dorsch in Hooker OK. She married Gene Quimby on August 1, 1950. They traveled around, residing in over 10 different states before settling in Taylor, Az. Over 55 years ago, where together they raised 4 children. She loved her family, bowling, gardening, racquetball and baseball, and was very good at all of them. Clara is preceded in death by her parents, her brother (Jack Dorsch), husband (Gene), and son (Jerry Lynn) Jay Quimby, and survived by her children, Mike (Nonie). Tricia (Bill Gibson), Bill (Melinda). 10 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 2 sisters, Marie and Carol. The Family would like to extend gratitude to Compassus Hospice and The Haven of Lakeside for the wonderful care they provided during the last few months of her life. There will be a Memorial Service on January 20, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the Silver Creek Mortuary.
