Clinton Earl Chatters born in Flint, Michigan to Silas Bruce Chatters and Treva Anderson on March 29, 1927. Clint's siblings Don, Shirley, Audrey, Treva, Bob and David are all deceased.

Clint served in the army near the end of WWII in Europe. When he returned home, he married Bernita Jane Hulverson on January 29, 1949.  They had six children Alan, Danny, Ginny, Becky, Melton and Shirley. All born in Flint, Michigan except Shirley who was born in Ohio. While they lived there a short time before returning to Michigan.

They moved to Glendale Arizona in 1961. Bought a home in the White Tank area. He told many stories about building a swimming pool. They had goats, chickens, cows and horses. While living there, Clint got his pilots license. He liked to tell stories of his planes and a few minor crashes he had.

After selling the White Tank home in 1993, they moved to Safford for two years. From there, they moved to Mesa and built a home on June Circle. After a couple of years, Clinton retired from Household Finances after almost 30 years.

Clint was driving a moving truck and decided to buy farmland in Arkansas. Where he learned a lot about farming, He continued to drive and move furniture. Talked about doing all the loading and delivery himself and then drove at night to make extra money. Milton tells a story where one week on the truck ended eight weeks later, when they made it home. While in Arkansas, Milton, Shirley and Doug lived with them at different times. They stayed in Arkansas until 1992.

Moving to Overgaard in 1992. Clint added onto the first house off of Pine Rim. Then they built a home near Alan on Tonto Drive. Bernita and Clint lived there until Bernita died on

January 13,2013. After selling that home, Clint went to Sheave port with Becky until July 2013, and then returned to Overgaard and married Rowena July 27, 2013.

Clint loved to travel.  He and Bernita went on many cruises and traveled any chance they could.  After Rowena and Clint married, they went on several cruises and trips.

Rowena died September 1,2022 and Clint followed 2 months later. They lived with Wendy, Rowena’s daughter and she took care of them to the end.

They had a happy 9.5 years together.
