David Kallinen Saline went to be with his Savior, December 4th, 2018, in Snowflake, Arizona.
He was born April 8, 1953, to LaRoy DeVar Saline and Laura Hunt. He lived in Pima, Arizona, in his youth until his family moved to Taylor when he was nine years old. He worked on the family farm with his four brothers until he served a mission for the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in upstate New York, and Ontario, Canada.
Once home, he attended Eastern Arizona College and then Brigham Young University where he met his first wife. Later they moved back to Taylor, Arizona, where he went into business with his brothers running the Silver Creek Mill.
Years later he sold the mill to focus on his family, and running the family farm. In 2005, he married Denice Flynn, they made their home in Taylor, and he continued to work with his brother Alma Saline on the farm. Due to the love he had for the Savior, there was nothing David loved more than serving his family and his fellowmen. He had a heart of gold and was a most beloved husband, father, brother, and friend.
He is survived by his wife, Denice, and her five daughters, Chandelle, Chalice, Delight, Chelsea, and Lacey. His four children, Michael, Carson, LaRee, LauraLyn; 23 grandchildren, one on the way, and one great grandson, as well as three brothers, Jim, Alma and Sanford.
