Dewayne Terry "Boy" James

Dewayne Terry James “Boy” was born May 23rd, 1996, in Whiteriver, Arizona to Derek James and the late Miranda Cosay. Dewayne entered eternal rest on April 23rd, 2023. He grew up in Whiteriver, where he attended Whiteriver Elementary, Canyon Day Junior High School, and Blue Ridge High School. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, listening to music, joking, and laughing.

Dewayne is survived by his father; Derek James, Sisters; Andrea Cosay and Shereen Duncan, Aunts; Malinda Altaha, Clarilynn Keyannie, Sharon Fall, Sherry Leslie, Ronna Tortice and Sheree Johnson, Uncles; Timmie Cosay Sr. and Deon James, Paternal Grandparents; Larry and Edna James.

Dewayne was preceded in death by, Mother; Miranda Cosay, Maternal Grandparents; Terry and Andrea Cosay.

A one-night Wake will be held Thursday, April 27, 2023, starting at 10:00am at 6 W. Locust Street, Whiteriver, Arizona, and a Funeral service on Friday, April 28, 2023, starting at 1:00pm at the Northfork Miracle Church, Whiteriver, Arizona. Interment to follow at Golden Gulch Cemetery, Dimond Creek, Arizona.
