Diane Kriter returned to her heavenly home on June 21, 2026. She is loved by many and will be missed. Diane was born to Max and Louise Hunt in Snowflake, Arizona on August 23, 1948. She lived most of her life in Snowflake. Diane married her sweetheart, Lloyd Kriter, on June 6, 1969, in the Mesa Temple.

Diane loved her family including her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. The highlight of her day was to have her family visit or call her on the phone. She quietly taught each one who came to see her.

Diane was an avid seamstress, including quilting, crochet and hand embroidery. She always had a project that she could take with her to work on. She also loved to bake bread and deliver it to others. Everyone loved Diane's bread. Diane also had a great love for Scouting. She became an 11-year-old scout leader at age 15 and served in scouting for many years.

Diane also had a great love for the Temple. Diane and Lloyd served in the Temple for many years. Diane continued to serve after Lloyd's passing. If she was not assigned to work a certain day, you could still find her at the Temple substituting for someone or attending the Temple herself. Diane and Lloyd also served missions in Mississippi and the Snowflake Family History Center. She also served as the coordinator for the Cannery in Snowflake.

Diane's greatest love was her Savior, Jesus Christ. She is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved to share her testimony through faith, dedication, love, and actions.

Diane is preceded in death by the love of her life Lloyd and a great grandchild.

She is survived by her children Jenifer (Robert) Allen, Lloyd (Laura) Kriter, Mary (Matt) Perkins, Eileen (Rob) Paull, and John (Jeanette) Kriter, 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren as well as siblings Catherine, James and Laurel.

Diane will be missed by all that know her, but she knew we would see each other again.

Services for Diane will be July 3, 2026, at 10 am with a visitation from 9:00 - 9:45 am. They will be held at the Pioneer Stake Center: 175 W 9th South Street, Snowflake Az 85937.
