Dorothy Coseboom LaPointe Baker died April 8th, 2022. She was 99 years old. Born in Klamath Falls, Oregon in 1923, she spent school and working years in Maryland, retiring from the C & P Telephone Companies in 1979. She remained an active supporter of Tri-Delta Sorority and the University of Maryland. In retirement she lived in Sandwich, New Hampshire and was an avid hiker, founded a senior hiking group, was active in the National Ski Patrol, the Appalachian Trail Conference, and was Chairman of the Sandwich Planning Board. In Arizona since 1995, she continued to enjoy nature, especially the Grand Canyon, the canyonlands of Utah, and became a supporter of the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance. Dot is proceeded in death by her husband Jack W. Baker. Burial Arrangements are private.
