Dorothy Jolley Obituary

Dorothy Mae Jolley was born on August 28, 1933, to Ivan and Addie Sullivan in Cottonwood, Arizona. She went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2025, after a short illness.

Dorothy Sullivan and Frank Jolley were united in marriage on February 17, 1954, in Holbrook, Arizona. Their children are Connie, F. Berry, Robert and Steve, all born in Holbrook Hospital.

In her early years Dorothy worked at Holbrook Grocers and Safeway. She worked until retirement in the Navajo County Assessor’s Office for around 25 years as an Appraiser.

Dorothy has been actively involved in Calvary Chapel of Holbrook for the past 40 years. She lovingly sent out hundreds of Birthdays, Anniversary, Thinking of you and Sympathy cards through the years to the church family.  Her potluck dishes were always such a hit, from her delicious blueberry dessert, chocolate chip cookies, cakes, Broccoli salad, pies and homemade bread.  Dorothy's many interests included reading the Bible, praying, crocheting, sewing, painting, decorating cakes and baking to name a few.

She loved God deeply and trusted in Him. She left that legacy to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved them all deeply and made each one of us feel special. She had a very great sense of humor and found joy in each day, even when she wasn’t feeling well. She will be dearly missed.

She is survived by F. Berry (Debbie) of Holbrook,  Robert Jolley of Linden; and Steve Jolley (Lisa) of Henderson NV; 8 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great, Great, Grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her Husband Frank; daughter Connie & Grandson Daniel; her parents & Brothers Merle and Ivan

Services will be held on February 3, 2025, Calvary Chapel of Holbrook @ 1pm followed by Interment at Holbrook Cemetery.
