Earl (Mike) LaCroix Powell

Earl (Mike) LaCroix Powell went to be with our mom unexpectedly on March 14, 2026.  He was born to Earl L Powell and Frankie Pauline Irwin on January 17, 1940, in Topeka, Kansas.

Mike met his wife, Nancy Jean Russell, in the Army and they were married in 1962.  Together they had three children, Michael, Mark and Wendy.  He was a veteran and served from 1959 to 1963 in the miliary police.  Later in life, they enjoyed traveling abroad.

Mike enjoyed traveling, reading, yard work, music and YouTube.

He is survived by sons, Michael (Susana) and Mark (Wei), daughter, Wendy, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

Mike is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Jean Powell.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
