Edyth Bernice Allred Jackson, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born on November 20,1929 in Central, Arizona to Joseph N. and Myrtle Porter Allred and spent her life in devotion service to her family, her faith, and her community.


Edyth was a dedicated schoolteacher for many years, over 24 of them with the Snowflake School District. She touched countless lives through her patience, kindness, and love of learning.


As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Edyth lived her life guided by her testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. She served willingly and endlessly, always seeking to uplift others through compassion, faith, and example.


She was the proud mother of six children and found her greatest happiness in her family. She cherished her 32 grandchildren, 83 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, each of whom brought her immense joy.


Edyth will be remembered for her many acts of service, her fighting spirit, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. Her influence will continue to be felt through the lives she shaped as a teacher, a mother, and a woman of faith.


She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who will forever treasure her legacy of love and service.


A viewing will be held at Silver Creek Mortuary on January 9, 2026 from 6-7 pm.


Funeral services will be held on January 10, 2026, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 2885 W Hwy 277 Snowflake, Arizona at 10 am. There will be a viewing prior to the service from 9 am to 9:45 am. Interment will follow at the R.V. “Mike” Ramsay Memorial Cemetery.
