Eugene 'Gene' (Jr.) Browning

Eugene ‘Gene’ Robert Browning Jr. entered eternal rest on May 3, 2021 at Haven of Lakeside in Lakeside, AZ.  He was born on May 16, 1966 to Eugene Browning Sr. and Katrina G. Browning in Whiteriver, Arizona.

Junior grew up in Dark Shadows, where he and the neighborhood boys would ride bikes until dawn, ride horses, go for walks in the mountains and play sports.  He was a very private person who stayed independent, but never failed to help out.  He was a very kind person and cared for people.  He was funny, liked to tell jokes and make people laugh.

Gene is survived by his brothers:  Bernardo (Vina) Palmer and Robert (Joann) Lupe and sisters:  Evelyn B. Tenorio, Beverly E. (Kent) Browning, Yolanda D. (Monte Sr.) Stover, Carla M. Lupe and Patricia (Mark) Beatty.  He was preceded in death by his father:  Eugene Browning Sr.; mother:  Katrina G. Browning; sister:  Betty L. Browning; brothers:  Kent R. Browning, Bobby Browning, Luther Browning and Delano L. Henry Jr.; brother-in-law:  James Tenorio; nieces:  Harrilyn Truax and Miranda Sue Kessay and adopted mom/aunt:  Rita Browning-Henry.

A Viewing will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the North Fork Miracle Church.  The Funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Joe Henry, officiating.  Interment will be at the Whiteriver Cemetery in Whiteriver, AZ.  On Sunday, May 16, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. there will be a Birthday Celebration in memory of Eugene in Diamond Creek, AZ.
