Eugene Donald Simpson

Eugene Donald Simpson passed away surrounded by loved ones on March 8th, 2024, at Summit Healthcare in Show Low, Arizona. Eugene was born on May 23rd, 1937, to his parents Louie and Opal Simpson.

Eugene grew up and lived most of his life in Burton, Arizona. He loved roping, hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He was married to his first wife, Bernice Weisbeck, and second wife, Paula Payne, both deceased. He cut logs for a living and did many other things to survive and enjoy life.

Euguene is survived by his sons, Floyd Simpson, Chris Simpson, and Reese Simpson; daughter, Peggy Simpson; sister, Velta Swindle; grandson, Cody Simpson; granddaughters, Tabitha Simpson, Emily Simpson, and Aryanna Simpson; great-granddaughter, Kylena Tomkins.

Eugene is preceded by his father, Louie Simpson; mother, Opal Simpson; wife, Bernice Weisbeck; wife, Paula Payne; sisters, Vinnie Espinosa, and Vera Davis; brother, Elvin Simpson, Wendell Simpson and, Denny Simpson.

There will be a Graveside Service held on Monday March 18th, 2024, at 11:00am at Burton Cemetery.
