Fernessa Rae Foster

Fernessa Rae Foster Entered into rest on December 30, 2023, in Show Low, Arizona.         She was born January 31, 1983, to Nayda Ivins and Butler Foster Jr.,  Fernessa was born in Cibecue, but was raised in Tucson, Arizona where she lived with foster parents for 15 years. She had 3 beautiful children and had a passion for cooking and bing with family. She also had 2 grandchildren Rakalea and Elias Ivins, whom she loved dearly. Fernessa’s personality, jokes and friendliness will be greatly missed.

                Fernessa is survived by her mother, Nayda Ivins, her father Butler Foster Jr., her sisters, Deanna Pina, Reyayda Ivins, Mikelle Ivins, her brothers, Carmichael Tessay, Aaron Foster, Jeremias Foster, Jessie, Ivins, Iverson Ivins and Micah Ivins, her daughter, Amaryllis Foster, her sons, Reggie Ivins and Xavier Chissay, her grandchildren, Rakaelea and Elias Ivins and her companion, Johnnie Chissay Jr.

She is preceded by her grandparents, Emma Tessay and Alexander Tessay and her brothers, Dwight Ivins, Michaelsen Ivins and Michael Ivins Jr.

Services for Fernessa will begin with a 2-night wake starting at 10:00 am on Thursday January 11th, 2024, at 110 S. Desert Storm, Cibecue, Arizona followed by a Home Service on Saturday January 13th, 2024, at the same location at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the service at Red Mountain Cemetery in Cibecue.
