Obituary
Freeman Skidmore entered into his final rest on July 12th, 2023, at the Whiteriver Indian Health Services Hospital in Whiteriver, Arizona, surrounded by family and friends. He was born August 3rd, 1966, in San Carlos, Arizona to Norman Skidmore Sr. and his late mother Matilda Rope.
Freeman worked and lived in various places throughout his life, but North Fork was home to him. He liked fishing, hunting, anything that had to do with the great outdoors, he was there. He is going to be missed dearly.
Freeman is survived by his parents; Norman and Evangeline Skidmore, his brothers; Israel Skidmore, Joseph Skidmore, Jossiha Skidmore, Roman Skidmore, Norwyn Skidmore, Neulyn Zospah and Deulyn Zospah, his sisters; Jessica Clawson, Rhonda Skidmore, and Makayla Zospah. He was preceded in death by his mother; Matilda Rope, grandmother; Ramona Skidmore and brother; Norman Skidmore Jr.
Services for Freeman will be as follows; a one-night wake will begin Friday, July 21st, 2023, starting at 10am at the North Fork Miracle Church, with a funeral to follow Saturday, Jully 22nd, 2023 starting at 10am at the North Fork Miracle Church, with interment to follow at the Navajo Point Cemetery, Bylas, Arizona.
