Georgina peacefully entered into eternal rest at Tucson, Arizona surrounded by her love ones. Born to George and Carmelita Harvey. Georgina grew up upon the Fort Apache Indian Reservation among her fellow White Mountain Apache Tribal Members. Her father, George was a logger and as such he relocated Georgina and her sisters to Eager, Arizona where they lived throughout his employment. Georgina moved back to the Fort Apache Indian Reservation and graduated from Alchesay High School. Georgina continued her education at Arizona State University where she completed her studies and obtained her Bachelor of Social Work degree. Georgina began working as a Social Worker for the Indian Health Services where she worked with the Phoenix Indian Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona after many years she moved home and finished the remainder of her career with the Whiteriver Service Unit, in Whiteriver, Arizona. Georgina worked with Indian Health Service for 41 years. As a Social Worker, Georgina helped many tribal members who were victims of violent crimes and various other American Indians who received services from Indian Health Services. Georgina enjoyed visiting with her clients and their families. Georgina was always giving to those who were in need. Georgina always joked with her family and friends, she had a loud contagious laugh that could be heard by all. Georgina met her husband Romaine Kinney Cromwell and they spent their life together providing for family members whom were in need. Georgina and Romaine enjoyed listening to Reggae music and would travel to attend various concerts. Georgina is of the Butterfly clan and would often surround herself with various kinds of butterfly trinkets. Georgina is survived by her sisters Marie Burnette, Sherry Harvey, Cindy Harvey, Brenda(Gerald) Lee, and Georgia Harvey. Georgina had only one child, her son Garrick ‘OJ’ DeClay, his wife Damenique & their children, Georginas grandchildren Griffey R. Harvey-DeClay, Chevelle & Viktoria DeClay. Many extended grandchildren, cousins, in-laws, friends, family & God-children. Georgina was proceeded in death by her parents George & Carmalita Harvey, and her loving husband of many years Romaine Kinney Cromwell. Georginas services were held at the Whiteriver Lutheran Church of the open Bible on Wednesday July 27,2022 with Pastor Kirk Massey officiating. There was a viewing in her honor from 7:00 am through 10:00 am, with her interment at the Whiteriver Cemetery where she now rests peacefully by her parents.
