Gerald Bartunek Obituary

Gerald Mark Bartunek entered eternal peace on September 18, 2021, in Taylor, Arizona. He was born September 2, 1939, to Alfred and Caroline Bartunek in Chicago, Illinois.

He grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota. After graduating high school, he joined the U.S. Army. After being discharged from the Army, Gerry met and married Lorraine Kietzman. Gerry and Lorraine lived in Colorado and then moved to Tucson, Arizona, to be near family and eventually moved to Taylor, Arizona, where they resided until their deaths.

Gerry is survived by his siblings, Mary Jo Hall, James Bartunek, Mark Bartunek (Rosie), John Bartunek, Michael Bartunek and Thomas Bartunek (Jackie); stepchildren, Betty Bryant, Linda Kargard & John Robinett (Cora).

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine Bartunek; his parents, Alfred and Caroline Bartunek; and stepson, Van B. Robinett, III.

The funeral will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints Love Lake Chapel on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 1:00 pm.
