Gloria P. Martinez

Gloria P. Martinez, went to be with the Lord surrounded by loved ones on June 22nd, 2022 in Show Low, Arizona. She was born on October 25th, 1946 to Shawnee Pina and Ruth P. Johnson in Cibecue, Arizona. Gloria was always a very talkative, caring and loving to her family and friends, she lived in California for nearly 30 years where she worked as a nurse at General Hospital in Los Angeles. She was a devoted member of the Lutheran Church.

Gloria is survived by one son, Eric Martinez, four brothers: Hickson Pina, Harvey Pina, Melvis Pina and Pee Wee Pina, one nephew, Willard John. Her grandkids, Angela, and Alexis Rope, Cynthianna John, Deondre John, David Ivins, Henry Johnson III, Shawna B. Cheney, Kyra Kasey and Khaleesi Cheney.

Gloria was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jerry Martinez, her son John Martinez and her nephews McDaniel John and Edmund John.

Services for Gloria will be as follows: Wake, July 1st, 2022 starting at 10:00 am located at 196 Veteran Dr. Cibecue, Arizona, and a Funeral service July 2nd, 2022 starting at 1:00 pm at the Cibecue Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Cibecue, Arizona. Interment to follow the service at Sunnyside Cemetery, 1215 S. Cooley Dr. Cibecue, Arizona.

Gloria was a delight to all she met, and loved by all who knew her, she will be greatly missed by all.
