Red served for 28 years in the Army. Korea and 3 tours Vietnam. Red used to say “He was the hardest ass ever pulled on a pair of pants “To know him, was to believe IT WAS TRUE!!!
Red passed away on December 22, 2025, at 11:19am I, his wife, Teresa aka “Ronaye” was with him at home, here where he loved it so very much! Also, at his side our Preacher of Dream City Show Low, Derek Hansen and his wife Tina who have become very dear family friends. Derek prayed Red over to his Lord! Red’s last spoken word was “CHRIST!!!” Bernadette Manning was there helping us for weeks prior, as she is part of our family and tight local community, we call the “MOONGAPPERS!”
I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Savior Hospice and nurse NETTIE. The tender love and compassion she felt was manifested in her eyes as I saw her heart there.
My immediate “adopted family” Steve Neville, wife Sandra have seen to it that the memorial and MY life will go on without a Hitch! I have been forever blessed that CSM moved us here “OUT WEST” knowing the day will come and I will need Family! Honey, YOU WERE ALWAYS RIGHT!!! CSM (ret) 73
Also, indebtedness from my heart to Austin, of Silver Creek Mortuary. The tender respect shown to my husband and I was so above and beyond, I am at a loss of words. Please forgive me if I am leaving anyone else out. This was, as you can imagine, a bit of a stressful day.
Red leaves 7 children behind and I believe 6 generations of grandchildren. With 1 more due in spring. His children live in Colorado, Kansas, Texas Oklahoma and daughter Breana and son-in-law tony in Oregon.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, that donations be make to the local POW.
Celebration of this Remarkable life will be held At Dream City Church in Lakeside, AZ on January 24, 2026 at 12 pm.
