Houston “Shane” Younger 52, died June 10th, 2022, of Natural Cause in Bullhead City AZ.

Shane was born July 27th, 1969, in McNary, AZ. To Jack and Raydene Younger

He is survived by his Father Justin Mack “Jack” (Myrna) Younger, Wife of 33 years Julie Winn Younger, Son Dustin “Dusty” Younger, Daughter Rebecca “Becky” Younger, Brothers Wade (Carlene), Dallas (Janalyn), Tyler (Liberty), Clay (Mandi), Sister Melissa Reynolds (Bruce), and Twin Granddaughters Nova and Luna Kreiter.

Shane is preceded in death by his Mother Raydene Gibbons Younger.

Shane was raised in Snowflake and Taylor Arizona. Shane Graduated from Snowflake high school where he was in the Jazz Band, played football and met the love of his life Julie.

Shane Graduated in 1987 and Married Julie in 1989 at the Snowflake LDS Main Street Chapple. They lived in Taylor until 1992 when they moved to Mesa AZ. The first of their two children Dusty was born in 1993 and Becky in 1996.

Shane, Julie, and Family lived in Mesa for 16 years then in 2008 spent a brief time in Wilhoite Az then moved to Gillette Wyoming where they lived for 12 years. In 2020 they made their way back to Taylor where they spent a year and then moved to Bullhead City.

Shane spent a few years as a truck driver, and a heavy equipment operator. Along the way he held position such as foreman and supervisor and was always an exemplar employee. Shane had the opportunity to operate the largest ever built haul truck and front-end loader at the Peabody Mine in Gillette Wyoming, something he was very proud of.

As much as Shane love working and was so good at it, his true love was always his family. He was a very proud and devoted husband, proud father and an obsessed Grampy to his Twin Granddaughters.

Shane will always be known for being big in stature, having an even bigger personality, his musical abilities, and his Orange 1970 Chevy pickup that he called the Great Pumpkin.

He will be deeply missed by all.

Services will be held at the Tayler LDS Stake Center 300 W Willow ln Taylor AZ, at 10:00AM on July 1st, 2022.
