James Benjamin Parsons entered into eternal rest on May 14, 2026, with his wife Lisa by his side.
James was born June 14, 1945, in Wadesboro, North Carolina to John L Parsons and Geraldine Tillman.
As a young man, James “Ben to his siblings” moved to Jersey City, New Jersey – Opportunity to further an education learn a trade, James came to Arizona under the Job Corp program. This was the beginning of the many friendships he built over the years.
James eventually moved to Holbrook, Arizona, where he lived and worked for many years. James moved his family to Show Low, Arizona, where he and Lisa have lived for 41 years.
James leaves behind to cherish his memory and his passion for cooking and fishing, his wife of 46 years – Lisa; his 2 sons – J. Anthony (April) Parsons and Jeremiah A. (Joy) Parsons, 10 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, a brother, Walter Parsons and 2 sisters; Helen Davi and Lillie Gardner of New Jersey; as well as several nieces and nephews from New Jersey to North Carolina and Arizona as well as his many friends and coworkers in Show Low, AZ.
His family wish to thank Savior Hospice for their care.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date.
