James Ted Amos passed away on August 28, 2024, in Show Low, Arizona. He was born April 25, 1938, to Thomas and Elizabeth (Brown) Amos in Whiteriver, Arizona, he was raised on the Fort Apache Indian reservation and is a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe.
Jimmy was married to Sharon Lue (Bagley) Amos for 62 years, he worked for Southwest Forest Products Inc., he worked as sprinkler fitter, he also worked for FATCO Industries, and maintenance at Whiteriver Indian Hospital. He loved to hunt, fish, trap, farming & ranching & loved the outdoors. He was a hard-working man, kind, generous, a joker & an awesome life storyteller.
Jimmy is survived by his Wife, Sharon (Bagley) Amos, Sons; Audy (Eileen) Amos, Randy Amos, Daughter; Juaina (Charlie, deceased) Williams, Brother; Johnny (Kathy) Amos, Grandchildren; Shalynn (Gordie) Nikolaus, Kelsie (Josh) Owens, Kaylee (Tony) Zavala, 8 Great Grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 9 siblings.
There will be a Celebration of Life, Saturday October 5, 2024, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at his residences at The Big Springs Amos Ranch, Fort Apache Indian Reservation, Arizona, Lunch will be served.
