Jane (Kelsey) McIntyre

Emily Jane McIntyre was born on June 1, 1928, to Irene Terrell Kelsey and Charles Kelsey. She was born in Gallup New Mexico and raised in Zuni New Mexico. She worked there with her parents and brother Pat at Kelsey Trading Company until she married Robert McIntyre; they moved to Pinetop Arizona, where they owned and operated Creek Ridge Cabins. Her next endeavor was The Plants and Pots shop in Pinetop. She eventually retired and built a home in Vernon, Arizona, where she moved to in 1990 and resided there until her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents, brother Pat, her spouse RC and daughter Juli. She is survived by her sons, Philip and Dan McIntyre grandchildren Hannah Aldape, Kelsey McIntyre, Lucas McIntyre, Molly Mcintyre, Kala McIntyre, and Amye McIntyre and great grandchildren Philip Abshire, Iris Abshire, Dashiell McIntyre, and Tessa McIntyre. One more great granddaughter is due in September.

She loved cooking and always had food for the unexpected guest. And when she wasn't cooking or working on her ceramics she was visiting with friends or gardening or reading.

No official Celebration of Life will be held, so when you see a pretty flower stop and think of Jane or even think of her as you savor a new recipe.
