“Lil Tee”
At the age of three, Jeremy came to Whiteriver and grew up on the reservation. He enjoyed all it had to offer as he explored, hiked, camped and most of all hunting and fishing. He attended Alchesay High School. As a young adult, Jeremy began his family and became a father to his two sons, Arnez and Damien. Jeremy held various jobs but performed well behind the grill. He worked at the Whiteriver Restaurant and Hon Dah Casino as a chef. Later in his life, Jeremy left Whiteriver and traveled northeast of Arizona, settling in Wyoming and most recently, Nebraska.
Jeremy was everyone’s big teddy bear and full of love and laughter, willing to help in any way he could. He protected those he loved. He babysat most of all of his little cousins, playing with them or laughing louder than them as they watched Disney movies together. He was loved by all.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Vanilla Sanders and Robert and Zina Cody. His Father, Henry Tom Sanders. His brother, Jameson Sanders. His Aunt, Roberta Lynn Sanders and his daughter, Nicole Sanders.
Services will be held for Jeremy Friday, December 19th, at 12:00 PM at White Mountain Apache Christian Church at 1720 N Chief Ave in Whiteriver, Arizona.
