Jerry Huddlestun went to be with his Lord on October 26, 2022, after a brief hospitalization for cancer. He was born June 20, 1942, in Seattle Washington to Howard and Dorothy Huddlestun. He was raised in Eugene Oregon graduating from South Eugene High School where he qualified for the state wrestling tournament.
After graduation in 1960, he enlisted in the Air Force and was stationed at Forbes Air Base in Topeka Kansas where he met Cathie Durand at church. They were married in 1964 and moved to Payson Arizona. Jerry loved and lived in Arizona the rest of his life. He worked in construction and ran his own general contracting business. He loved the outdoors and spent many years off roading in his Jeeps helping with Jeep Jamborees and the Great Western Trail. In later years he became an avid trout fisherman. He and Cathie spent many summers exploring Colorado and Wyoming.
He is survived by his wife Cathie, son Brett, daughter Carrie, brother Steve, five grandchildren as well as great grandchildren. His parents and one grandson preceded him in death.
Jerry loved his Lord and life. He touched so many people as he walked his path on this Earth. He will be missed by so many.
