John Ervin Holman

John Ervin Holman passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in his sleep on September 30, 2024, at his home in Taylor, Arizona.  He was born to John and Lorraine Holman on June 21, 1950, in Chicago, Illinois.

John married the love of his life, Jane Holman, on July 15, 1990.  He gained two daughters which he considered his own.  He spent most of his life as a truck driver, which turned into a lifelong passion.  He was a great listener with the best advice and someone who would make any stranger his friend.  He touched any people with his kindness and sense of humor.

John is survived by his loving wife, Jane Holman; daughters, Sara Ramsay (Mike), and Lisa Thrasher (Dave); grandchildren, Jacob, Breanna, Jarrett, Colten, and Bobby Ramsay and Rune, Zane, Sion and Duke Thrasher; sister, Nancy Bluis and brother, Roy Holman.

He is preceded in death by both parents and most recent beloved dog, Shadow.

A Celebration of Life will be held October 2, 2024, from 2 to 5 pm at the family home at 740 E. Suncrest Lane, Taylor, Arizona.
