John C Spires

John C. Spires of Taylor, Arizona, was born on 10-25-1963.  He passed away on 12-22-2021.

John is survived by his wife of 40 years, Donna “Shelley”, son and best friend John E Spires (Brandy) James L. Spires who preceded him in death, and his daughter Brandi Barnes (Brett) grandchildren and extended family.  He was dad to a lot of others and proud of being a part of their lives.

John worked in the masonry and concrete field since he was a teen.  He built a business with his son, John E. and took pride in his skills as a tradesman.  He had a strong work ethic and said a handshake was his word.  He always had time to help others.   He would always say, “Work hard, put pride in your work, never get to full of yourself, and enjoy life to its fullest.”

He loved being with his family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, hunting and fishing.  He loved to share hunting tips, especially when it came to hunting elk and deer.  He never ran out of hunting stories to tell and never met a stranger. 

There will be a celebration of life for John on January 8th at 10:30 am, 880 Centennial Blvd. Taylor,  Arizona.
