John Thomas Wycliffe Jr., age 49, of Whiteriver and Fort McDowell, AZ, passed away on March 20, 2020 after a battle with illness. He was born in Oakland, CA, February 10, 1971 to parents John & Cecelia Wycliffe. Growing up, he became a great Oakland Raiders fan. His father remembers taking John to Oakland Raiders football games. He loved the outdoors including fishing and hunting. He worked for maintenance at the Fort McDowell Casino. He loved to sing, go to Karaoke and listen to Metallica. John was very fond of Mexican food. He had great joy in being a grandfather, with 9 grandchildren.
John is survived by his wife Roberta Camacho, by daughters Jessica Cook, Justine Wycliffe, by son Juakeen Wycliffe, by Father John Thomas Wycliffe, Sr., by sisters Connie Wycliffe, Johanna Thompson, Doreen Clay, and by his 9 grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his mother Cecelia Wycliffe and brother Jonathan Wycliffe.
A wake will be held in his honor on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at 10am at the Wycliffe’s residence in Whiteriver, followed by a funeral service on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 1:00pm.
Interment will be at the Sunrise Cemetery in East Fork, AZ.
