Judith Connell Obituary

In loving memory of Judith (Judy) Marie Connell, of Pinetop, Arizona who left us on July 2, 2024. Judy was born September 11, 1945, to Peter J. Doyle Sr. and Mary Yaceshyn Doyle in Everett, Mass.

She married Joseph (Joe) R. Connell on October 18, 1970, in West Roxbury, Mass.  They had a wonderful marriage that spanned 53 happy years, full of love, good friends & family and many adventures.

Judy had a long and successful career at Long Realty in Tucson achieving the following designations: ABR, GRI, CRS and Associate Broker.  She volunteered with PAWS; an organization that provides teddy bears to children in crisis situations.   She also volunteered at Habitat for Humanity and Saint Rita’s in the Desert, Vail, AZ.

Judy is survived by her husband, Joe, her two children Joseph (Joe) T. Connell (Leslie) and Suzanne M. Meier (Paul), Beloved brother Peter J. Doyle (Merial) of Malden, and sister Patricia Hart of Tewksbury.

She is predeceased by her parents Peter & Mary Doyle, and two brothers, Charles E. and Michael J. Doyle.

Judy was known for her warm outgoing personality, her zest for life and her willingness to help others.   She loved to party, dance and entertain and was always ready for an impromptu happy hour or get together with neighbors, family or friends.   In lieu of flowers a donation to Judy’s favorite charity, St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, would sincerely be appreciated.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date, in both Pinetop/Lakeside and Tucson, AZ.
