June Marie Bush

June Marie Bush, known to many as Pastor Bush. Went home to be with the Lord on May 21st, 2023, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was born in Whiteriver, Arizona, on June 15th, 1955, to her parents Roger Clawson Sr and Julia Thomas while being raised in Cedar Creek, Arizona. 

June loved to travel, visiting places such as Jerusalem a couple of times, Alaska, East to West Coast usually ministering when she had the opportunity. June started her career as a dental assistant at the Whiteriver Indian Health Service and ended with pastoral ship at the East Fork Grace of God Church (EFGOC) located in East Fork, Arizona. Within her 27 years of ministry, she was a very humble, nice, patient, and elegant person who never turned anyone away showing an example for her congregation and family resulting in the continuing growth of the church. With her inseparable husband, Milton Bush, they enjoyed eating out in Mexican restaurants, especially El Rancho, going to Wal-Mart, fellowshipping at other churches, and driving the backroads and outdoors together. 

She prayed for many over the years of her ministry and was the eldest and the stronghold of her 6 siblings in the family. She was survived by her husband Milton Bush, her son Ferguson Palmer, her sisters Colleen (Dennis) Faden, Virginia Clawson, Arlene (Roy) Quintero, Priscilla (Dave) Ethelbah, Pamela Anderson, and one brother Roger (Barbara) Clawson Jr. Her godsons Tayshaun Quay and Melvin Tsosie and goddaughter Melinda Goode. She had many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and extended family. 

A wake will be held on Monday June 5th, 2023, at 10am at her residence, 6915 E. East Fork RD #34 Whiteriver, Arizona 85941.

 A funeral will be held in her honor on June 6th, 2023, at 1pm at her residence under the Gospel tent. Interment will follow at the Dove Street Cemetery in East Fork, Arizona.
