Kim Acevedo entered into rest on September 23, 2025, in Pinetop, Arizona. His health had been failing, and he passed away peacefully. He was born to Lupe Acevedo and Peggy Barlow Acevedo on September 21, 1958, in St. Johns, Arizona.
Kim was an athlete all his younger years. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He lived for hunts and being outdoors with family and friends. He loved his football teams, Go Steelers and Bama boys!
Kim is survived by Katrina Garvin, his daughter; TC Garvin, son in law; Torin Cruz Garvin, grandson; and Kiya Aspen Garvin, granddaughter; Peggy Acevedo, mother; Sheryl Acevedo, sister; Anthony Acevedo, brother, and his wife Traci Acevedo; his nieces, Breon Simpson, and her husband, Ryan Simpson, and their son, Bodhi Simpson; and Hayden Pena, Samanta Foster and her husband, Jay Foster, and their children, Atticus and Leopold Foster, Zach Acevedo, Inun Pena and Savein Pena Family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lupe; his sister, Christi, and his nephew, Ian.
