Lance Albert Goodman

Lance Albert Goodman, entered into eternal rest on January 20, 2023, due to natural causes, while surrounded by his family. Lance was born April 7, 1959, to Mary Kathleen and George Albert Goodman, in Tucson AZ and was raised in St. David, AZ. He grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He loved playing baseball, fishing, hunting, and anything outdoors. Early on he worked at Grandma Goodman’s store, where he was a meat cutter and due to an accident lost his arm. That sure didn’t stop him from doing anything in life. He could play golf, drive a stick shift and tie his own shoes. He enjoyed making up stories for family and for kids in the community, of how he lost his arm. Lance is survived by his Father George Albert Goodman and stepmother Melba Goodman of Gilbert, AZ; by sister Marcy Hansen of Shumway, AZ; and by niece and nephew Autumn Hunsaker and Travis Hunsaker; by 2 stepsisters and 4 stepbrothers. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Kathleen Goodman.

A funeral celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at 1:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Love Lake Chapel, 301 Love Lake Rd., Taylor, AZ. There will be a viewing prior to the service starting at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at the Shumway Cemetery.
