Larry S. Dunagan passed away February 3, 2023, in Mesa, Arizona. He was born August 1, 1944, in Lordsburg, New Mexico to Steve Wallace and Ruth A. Dunagan.
Larry was in law enforcement for over 40 years. He then went on to be the director of emergency management. He retired in 2012 to take care of his mother when she fell ill. Larry was a very loving and passionate man he will be greatly missed by anyone that knew him.
He was very passionate about fishing, Nascar and collecting pigs.
Larry is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Dunagan (Percy), and 2 adult daughters, Amanda Lee Hatch, (Troy), and Michelle Denise Dumas (Calvin), and his sister Ruth Barbier (Louie), 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Steve and Ruth Dunagan and 3 brothers Jerry, Terry and Mike.
There are no services scheduled at this time, there will be a celebration of life at
a later date.
