Larry Lee Passey

Larry Lee Passey, while surrounded by loved ones, was peacefully called home, as a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on July 1, 2021. Larry was born on March 20, 1937 to George Lowell and Helen Lee Passey as the 4th of their 6 children, their first son, in Lincoln, Idaho. Larry attended Bonneville High School, and married Geraldine Lee Passey on June 21, 1956. They later moved to Mesa, AZ in 1960. Larry was the owner and operator of The Transmission Shop for 10 years in Tempe, AZ, then in 1989 made the move with his family to Hacienda Heights, CA to begin his 32 year career with Transgo. In 2003 Larry made his last move to Taylor, AZ, his wife, Jerry, of 50 years passed in 2006. He later found his second sweetheart, Shirley Cuthbertson Passey, and were married for 12 years. Survived by his wife Shirley Passey, his children: Robin (David) McLaws, Tamra (John) Wyatt, Bart (Danielle) Passey, Dayna West, Beth (Daniel) Nordstrom, Jill (Devin) Haws, 44 Grandchildren and 90 Great Grandchildren. Step Children: Bob (Teresa) Cuthbertson, Karen (Paul) Cuthbertson Sullivan, Susan Cuthbertson Phillips, 15 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren. Preceded in Death by: wife Geraldine Lee Passey and son Stephen Lee Passey and son-in-law Robert Samuel Guthrie.
