Laura Katy Cody

Laura Katy Cody went home to be with the Lord on December 12th, 2023, in her beautiful white mountains of Arizona. Laura was born July 23rd, 1997, in Show Low, Arizona to Joy Lupe and the late Lawerence Cody.

Growing up Laura loved riding horses. While living in Phoenix, she worked various jobs. Laura was a friend to many, she loved to cook, clean, listen to music, and often “freestyled”. Laura made people laugh and let people know she truly cared for them, most of all she loved her son Kaiden.

Laura is survived by her mother Joy Lupe, brothers Ty Romo & Eugene Cody, sisters Tanisha Cody & Kassie Lupe, her son Kaiden Cody & Grandmother Norma Lupe. She is preceded in death by her father Lawerence Kenneth Cody, maternal Grandfather Steven Lupe Sr., aunt Sharon Lupe and uncle Barry Lupe, cousin Shanna Wallen, paternal Grandfather Leon Cody, paternal Grandmother Evelene Doka Antone and Gary Lupe.

Services for Laura will be as follows; a one-night visitation on Monday December 18, 2023, starting at 10:00 am at 10 N. River Rd. Whiteriver, Arizona. A Catholic funeral service will begin at 10:00 am on Tuesday December 19, 2023, at St. Francis Church in Whiteriver, Arizona. Interment will follow at Golden Gorge Cemetery in Diamond Creek, Whiteriver, Arizona.
