Lemoine “Le” Edward Upole passed away on July 12, 2023, in Snowflake, Arizona.
He was born March 31, 1951, in Deer Park, Maryland. Parents Herbert and Mildred Upole. Le was raised in Tucson, Arizona.
Le lived in Phoenix Arizona and worked for the Arizona Humane Society for many years and adopted many dogs. In 1985 Le was enticed by the beautiful trees and fresh air of Heber-Overgaard AZ. In the early years of living in Overgaard he was known for riding his horse “Lucky” all over town. Le had a love of animals and they would appear in the doggy door and a dog was always welcome in his home.
He started his first business, Black Market Firewood. In 1993 Le and his previous wife Jean purchased the Saw Shop. They were known for educating many on the importance of safety while cutting wood. Le sold the Saw Shop later but his love of the woods and cutting firewood continued until the end. Le will be remembered for his Black Cowboy hat and a chainsaw in hand.
Le was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Mildred and daughter Jessica Upole (Dodd) Mccoy. His grandkid Tyler.
Survived by Amanda and Heath Kenyon and his grandkids, April, Jacob, and Caleb. Nicole Chesley and his grandkids Tanner and Jacob. His Grand-Children Logan, Caleb, and Keagen.
