Leo Hatch Flake

Leo Hatch Flake, (69), of Aripine, Arizona, passed away on February 15, 2023. 

Leo was the youngest son of Clark Owen Flake and Afton Hatch Flake. Born in Mesa, Arizona, on January 31, 1954. His early life was spent in between Mesa and his family’s ranch in Aripine. Throughout his adult life he lived in many different places, yet he always returned to his home at the ranch. It was the ranch in Aripine where he chose to live out his final years. He died there peacefully with his wife Christine, as always, there by her cowboy’s side. 

Leo is survived by his steadfast wife, Christine, their four children, Heath Flake, Marlo Gibbs, her husband Scott, Colton Flake, his wife Meghan, and Taia Flake. Also, by his adoring grandchildren, Thae Flake, Ruester Gibbs, Aurora Flake, Ruckus Gibbs, Brix Flake, Bhail Flake, and Ravelle Gibbs.

 
Although Leo had many careers, titles, and roles throughout his life, he is best remembered as a devoted husband, father, and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 
All family and friends of Leo are respectfully invited to attend the funeral services at 12:30pm on Saturday, February 25th, 2023, held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building, 1858 Hwy 260 Heber, AZ 85933.
