Leon Quintero Sr. went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2021 in Whiteriver, Arizona. He was born on June 14, 1957 to Martha Antonio and Clarence Quintero. He grew up in Whiteriver and was a well-known cowboy. He loved being with family and friends. Many knew him as ‘Jeep’.
Leon is survived by his daughters: Lecia Woolboy and Leona Quintero; sons: Davis Woolboy, Clarence Quintero, Leon Quintero Jr. and Jacob Quintero; sisters: Marian Altaha and Juanda Antonio; uncles: Adam Burnette and MacArthur Burnette and aunts: Shirley Burnette and Ludy Altaha. He was preceded in death by his mother: Martha Antonio; father: Clarence Quintero; brothers: Jerrell Antonio and Leo Quintero; and sisters: Marilyn Quintero, Marlene Palmer, Jolinda Antonio and Bernita Truax.
A Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 8am to 11am at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church in Canyon Day, AZ with the funeral immediately following. Interment will be at the Canyon Day Cemetery in Canyon Day, AZ.
