Loretta Louise Clark went to be with the Lord on August 23, 2025, in Snowflake, Arizona.
Loretta was born on June 29, 1944, in Eugene, Oregon to Richard William Fawcett and Marie Elizabeth Rosetta Vaughn. As a young girl she enjoyed playing at the sawmill in Grants Pass, Oregon, helping her dad. She later moved to California with her mother. She returned to Washington as a young woman and fell in love with William Clark. They have one son and six daughters. Shortly after the passing of her mother, she moved to Arizona. There she enjoyed helping her children raise her grandchildren.
Loretta is survived by her brothers: Grover Oakerman (WA), Steven Oakerman (WA); her son: Harlon Clark; her daughters: AlyceMarie Gren (UT), MaryLouise Hazelett (AZ), Retta Stettler (Maine), Lynda Haseltine (AZ), Dorthey Sanders (TX), Judy Abner (GA); 27 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Robert Lee Fawcett (Oregon), and Larry Wilbur Fawcett (Washington). A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday September 1, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Latter-Day Saints, Pioneer Park Chapel in Snowflake, Arizona.
