Louise McCleve Hatch August 27, 1934 - June 17, 2022

Our wonderful mom, Louise passed away peacefully at home on Friday, June 17 surrounded by family. Louise was born in Taylor, Arizona to John Leo and Ella Mae McCleve. She graduated from high school in Snowflake, Arizona in 1952. She married her high school sweetheart Richard Hill Hatch November 26, 1953 and remained in Taylor, Arizona all her life. They had 5 children. She devoted her life to raising her children, grandchildren and serving others.

Louise loved and blessed many lives with her service. She completely dedicated her time, talents, and interests in this service. Many lives were touched by her service she gave in her positions held in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout her life. She also taught 4H for more than 17 years, teaching others amazing homemaking skills like canning, cooking, cake decorating, and sewing.

Louise had many extraordinary talents. She operated a business for years “Taylor Made” sewing for people and renting tuxedos. It was not just the amazing seamstress work that she did but the joy that it brought to others with what she did for them.

Louise is survived by her 4 children Merlene Foshee (Danny), Ava McNeil, Amy Hatch, Justin Hatch (Karen) and 15 grandchildren; Brenda, Julee, Brandon, Dusty, Allyssa, Austin, Kristyn, Valerie, Lynesssa, Jade, Anthony, Emma, Ally, Carter, and Olive, 23 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, brother Lennard McCleve and sister Carlene Parham Smith.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband Richard Hatch, son Richard Phil Hatch and son=in=law Marty McNeil.

She will be forever remembered for her teachings, personal courage, her love of people, and her Christlike qualities

The service will be on Friday, June 24. 2022 at 11:00 am at the Silver Creek Stake Center with a viewing at 10:00 am, 309 W. Willow Lane, in Taylor, with interment immediately after the service at the Reed Hatch Memorial Cemetery in Taylor. Luncheon for friends and family will be held after the interment at Love Lake Chapel in Taylor.
