Lucian Phillip Garcia

Lucian Phillip Garcia, surrounded by love and light, entered eternal rest on December 19, 2022, at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was the oldest of six children and the first grandchild of both the Stago and Garcia families. Lucian grew up in Whiteriver and graduated from Alchesay High School then went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University. He moved to Hawaii, started a family, and lived there most of his adult life. He relocated back to Whiteriver in 2019.

Lucian enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping. He had a knack for home repair and DIY projects. He was a master woodcraftsman with his own brand, Ndee Woodcraft L.L.C. He loved ASU football and Van Halen. He had great love for his children, nieces, and nephews.

Lucian leaves behind his children, Julian Garcia, Kalai Garcia, Polani Garcia and Lupe Garcia. His aunts, Beverly Stago, Tammy Stago and Yvonne Massey and his uncle Joaquin Garcia Sr. His siblings, Renee, Leeann, Damenique, Dezeray and Leandro Jr. One granddaughter, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church on Thursday January 5, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Ft. Apache Cemetery.
