Lynden George

Lynden George entered into rest surrounded by loved ones after an unexpected illness at home in Whiteriver, Arizona on May 22nd, 2023. Lynden was born to the late Ned George and Emily Martine on Feburary 17th, 1948. He resided in Whiteriver, Arizona. He was employed by FATCO Timber Company in Whiteriver, Arizona. He enjoyed riding his horse and participating in team roping at rodeos. He also loved pitching horseshoes at tournaments. Lynden is survived by Ethelreda George whom he was married to for 41 years residing in Whiteriver, Arizona.  By his brothers Joyner, Monte, Arnold, Wilbert, Everett and Levern George. Sister Mary Ruth George. Son Joseph George and 3 grandkids Maryam George, Brandon George and Geneille George. Lynden is preceded in death by his father Ned George and mother Emily Martine. Lynden’s Wake will be held Thursday June 1st, 2023, at 10am at 1103 S. Chainsaw Rd. Whiteriver, Arizona. His funeral will be held Friday June 2nd, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Whiteriver Lutheran Church. Interment will follow at Tiapa Seven Mile Cemetery.
