Marcus Phillip Francis

Marcus Phillip Francis entered eternal rest, surrounded by his loved ones on October 19, 2021 at the family’s home in Whiteriver, AZ.  He was born on May 20, 1981 to Marilyn Cosen and his late father Joseph Antonio, then raised by the late Travis Francis.

He grew up in the surrounding communities of Cibecue and Whiteriver, AZ.  He enjoyed driving the backroads, barbequing, taking trips to the gun range and joking with family and friends.  He was a big fan of the “Archie” comics and collected knives.  He was a big supporter of the Cibecue Wildcats, an avid video gamer with his son, an amateur carpenter and participated in the art of tai chi.  Of all things, he mostly loved being home with his wife and kids.

Marcus is survived by his wife;  Heaven Leigh Francis; children:  Angel Joy (Francis) Jumper, Angela Bertha, Karla Allen, Lucius Jaden Francis, Asiana Martinez-Stover and Zaley Madison Lupe.   

A one-night Wake will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at 10 am at 14 S. Chief Avenue, Whiteriver, AZ.  A Home Service will follow on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 10 am with Pastor Lex Baha, officiating.  Interment will be at the R-14 Cemetery in Cedar Creek, AZ.
